Weekly Winner – Wizzer!

Today “WWW” doesn’t stand for “world wide web,” it stands for “Weekly Winner – Wizzer!” I’m pleased to announce that Wizzer is the first randomly chosen winner in our weekly comments contest.

Congrats Wizzer!  Take your pick of one of these 2 books!

4 Hour WorkweekBlog Marketing

Which of these would you like us to send you? :D

This week’s comment’s contest prize is $50! At CBG, it pays to speak your mind!

Congrats to Wizzer. I’ve been wanting to read the 4 Hour Work Week, but haven’t broken down and bought it just yet. I’ve heard good things about it though.

    Congrats Wizzer!
CBG team: It would be interesting to hear what your end impressions of the exercise were when you are done. ie increase in comments, increase in subscription, increase in advertising revenue etc.
    Thanks for the ideas!

Hey guys, thanks very much. Now here’s an admission – I didn’t know about the “contest”! Would it have influenced my comments – definitely not. If I find a blog I like and the owners are doing a good job, posting good stuff then I will link and comment as a matter of course. BUT, having won, I’ll now do a full feature on my blogs which hopefully will encourage more regular readers here.
I’d love the 4 Hour Workweek please – seems a long way off at the moment – need to reduce by about 10 hours a day!!
Thanks again, a great surprise for me this morning. Mark

Hey Mark – congrats!! Send me your mailing address to christine [at] createbusinessgrowth [dot] com so I can get this sent out to you right away!!!

I agree – 4 hours seems a teeny bit far off – but hey, it sounds like if you got down to 8 hours a day that would be a refreshing change!

    Congrats again :D

You bet UrbanMike. We’ll be posting something soon about how the the podcast contest helped with meeting our goals for subscription and readership and will certainly do the same for this contest. It’s a fun experiment in blogging and a great way to meet new people!

I guess we fill our time with what we want – I know I do. Full time business but a real desire to get a “full time” internet business up and running, so I’ll do what it takes. Plus I love to get involved in various blog and forum communities – you meet such great people.

Congratz Wizzer! And I like your attitude :)

Comments are for contributing to a discussion and adding value to a blog or for showing appreciation. Commenting for the purpose of commenting is a no-no in my opinion.

Btw I’m not bashing your contest David…you request quality comments and “hand-pick” the winners. And the higher the quality of the articles, the better the comments will be. But encouraging them is a smart thing to do ;)
