It might help to break the task into smaller chunks. Start with your goal to be an outline of an e-Book. An outline doesn't seem too daunting. Then take one of the outline topics and start there.

I agree Erik, I made the decision to write an eBook on a topic I love (and have a lot of experience with) about a month ago, but haven’t yet started. It is a daunting task.
