I know that many of you are familiar with reading posts from Christine. Well, she moved this past weekend and is still without internet service. Which is worse, the move? or no internet? Christine should be back online soon and you can begin enjoying her posts. Either way, there will be a regular quality post on Wednesday for sure.

I played the CBG Rocks game. It was decent. A little more control over rotation speed and intervals would have proved more useful, but all in all it was fun. I remember a game similar to this on my old windows 98.
I also wanted to point out that I clicked on the press release button after the game ended and I came upon a 404 error. Just wanted to give you a heads up on that.
Christine is awesome and I wish her the best with her move.
A fresh start and new perspective on life is a good thing every now and then.

I vote no internet use. Surprisingly, I love moving…it’s a great way to clean out the junk
I would say no internet is worse than moving.
What I learned from moving is that it’s better to cancel your current subscription and get a new one for the new place, than to move the subscription alltogether.
Somehow the procedures for setting up new customers are a lot more detailed and smoother than the procedures for moving an existing customer. At least that’s my experience.

So true Susan - I seem to move every two years and my favorite part is getting rid of “stuff” that no longer serves a purpose or doesn’t make me feel GOOD when I see it. Great point!

I see that your current post is about productivity - and here’s a lesson I learned in productivity with this internet thing - you can try to be too prepared to the point where it backfires! I scheduled the DSL install so early (6 weeks early) that they sent the modem to the previous residents who must have taken it with them - ah!

Hey Christine, I’m judging by your ever-reliable comment follow-ups you’re back online? Hope the move went well
I haven’t been without the Internet for more than 3 days in the past couple of years, which is a little disturbing now that I think about it!
Still, I think for people in our industry (blogging, startup running, online networking etc.), having an Internet connection is the equivalent to coffee for most others.
People look at me funny when I tell them about needing to stay connected at all times, but try withholding their daily cafe lattes and they’d be climbing up the walls!
Hey Andy! I am back online - boy am I back online!! I don’t think I’ve been offline aside from a few hours of sleep here and there since I did get moved and get the DSL working!
It is pretty crazy at how important being online has become… now that you mention it, I don’t think I’ve been offline for more than 3 days in the past couple of years either! Let me tell you, I wouldn’t recommend it without some proper planning. Even though you’re not logged on, those emails keep pouring in and then you’re up in the wee hours of the night for days trying to catch up… aagh!
