Who Said That?
Here are the noteworthy blogs and sites for this week!
- Urban Dictionary- I first discovered this web site during my graduate school days as a linguist, and it is quite possibly one of the coolest, most amusing web sites around. You can also join the conversation on Twitter.
- Creative Skirts- Written with a focus on women (men are welcome too), this site explores web 2.0 topics, technology, life issues, advertising and other media-related stuff. Definitely worth checking out!
- WRT: Writer Response Theory- Founded in 2004 by Christy Dena, Jeremy Douglass and Mark C. Marino, WRT is “a blogging collective dedicated to the discussion and exploration of digital character art”. Stop by and have a look.
- Writing and Design- Written by Steve Ince, an award-nominated writer and game designer, this blog discusses topics and issues surrounding writing, design, gaming, and the creative process involved.
- The Participant Observer- This is a well written blog dealing with online communities, social media and technology.
