It’s another Friday and time for the weekly… “Who Said That?”
In case you are new to our blog, this is the way we close out our week by giving you other cool things to check out over the weekend while we relax ( not really… I do a lot of surfing… internet surfing that is on the weekends).
I’d like to start with a BIG THANKS to the numerous bloggers talking about our promotion. If I tried to mention everyone, I’d probably leave someone out by mistake. You to can blog about it and get 10 additional entries by contacting Christine.
NOW……… Let’s rock-n-roll with “Who Said That?”
Duct Tape Marketing – “Maybe it’s a problem with the bowl” Don’t limit your growth or for that matter limit yourself period. I’d like to add something of value… “Surround yourself with positive people, read things that inspire you (hopefully this blog) and keep yourself motivated.” Being from Raleigh, NC, I remember when NC State basketball coach Jim Valvano was dying of cancer. He had a saying… “Never ever give up.” I also remember one of his last television appearances in which the cue card said… “break to commercial.” Jimmy V. said something to the effect of they are asking me to break for commercial and I’m dying of cancer… I’ll finish what I have to say first. Where do you find inspiration? Are you limiting yourself?
I’m the only Titanium Member for the State of North Carolina for Fast Pitch Networking. I found two blogs this week on Fast Pitch Networking (Take the tour) that I would like to mention: Home Business Connection.biz and N2Growth.com/Blog.
“The Top 10 Blogging Mistakes that I made my first year” by Wendy Piersall over at eMoms at home blog. Blogging is great, but you have to be committed to doing it. Be sure to check out Wendy’s post and maybe you can avoid making the same mistakes during your first year or second or third. Mistake # 8 is “I didn’t promote my feed” Well, if you have been around us any length of time. You’ll know that we are heavily promoting our feed. You can get it here. If you don’t understand RSS, we’ve even made that easy. You need readership if you have a blog. By the way… THANK YOU READERS!
Pro Blogger has a post about “How do you make money from your blog?” which has 57 comments as of this post and with over 25K readers at Pro Blogger that’s sure to go up.
Our good “ol” (only 23… I’m 40.) friend Nate Whitehill (look for his interview on Tuesday here at CBG) is always posting good stuff. “Who do I turn to for advice” is a post from this week. Nate is only 23 and has a bright future in my mind. Nate, keep up the good work!
